When a suspicious call reaches Mom or Dad,
bring family into the conversation.
Your parent stays in charge. They can choose AI support, family, or both. They always decide whether to keep talking, hang up, or call family.
Companion™ does not control bank accounts or payments.
“I’m here. Let’s check this together.”

When does it launch?
We’ll share the launch date as soon as it’s set. Sign up and we’ll tell you the day it’s ready.
Who can choose warnings, family, or both?
Your parent chooses. AI points out warning signs and helps your parent check a request; it never speaks to the caller or takes over the call. Family brings a chosen person into the live conversation with your parent’s invitation. Both combines warnings with family help. Your parent always decides whether to keep talking, hang up, or call family. If nobody answers, that decision still belongs to your parent. Captions stay on. The gear-shaped Settings button lets your parent choose Call Shield™ warnings and family help.
The optional Let family manage switch lets selected adult children choose warnings, family, or both only in situations your parent approves in advance. It is off by default. Joining the family list alone does not grant this permission. Family permissions never transfer control of the call away from your parent. Unlocked permissions and help choices can be changed in Settings.
An optional Family settings lock lets a parent-approved family member or authorized guardian lock selected settings with a PIN. It is off by default and shows who locked the settings. Help, hanging up, and emergency access remain available. The website uses a public preview PIN and does not secure a real account.
These features are in development. Connection methods, the no-response timing, and tested joining steps will be confirmed before launch.
Does Companion™ record calls?
Call audio would be processed only with your parent’s permission. This website does not listen to or record calls. Before launch, we’ll publish what is processed, stored, deleted, and never recorded.
What phone does my parent need?
Supported devices are not yet confirmed. We’ll publish the tested device list and setup requirements before launch, including whether iPhone, Android, landlines, or flip phones are supported.
Is Companion™ free?
Companion subscription pricing is still being evaluated. Eligible federally funded phone captioning is available at no cost through a certified provider after registration and a separate signed eligibility certification. Companion’s captioning service and provider arrangement are still in development. Joining this website’s launch-update list is free. Companion™ never sells your conversations or uses them for advertising.
